Neurodiversity in the Workplace

Neurodiversity in the Workplace training

What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiverse is a term used to describe people who think differently to the majority and is often used concerning neurodevelopmental conditions including autism, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia and Tourette syndrome. 15% of the UK is diagnosed as Neurodiverse, how many more are undiagnosed?

Embracing neurodiversity means embracing all of us, our unique perspectives on the world, and how we act on our thoughts.

WHY DO YOU NEED THIS COURSE

  • Most people are neurotypical, meaning that the brain functions and processes information in the way society expects.
  • Neurodivergent individuals face an increased risk of mental health issues and poor well-being due to a lack of social and workplace support, and recognition.
